The topic of cannabis
and what its main ingredient, THC, can do have long been debated in the
scientific and political community, but it’s difficult to argue with
video footage that displays its abilities.
Since 1974, studies have concluded that cannabis can combat cancer cells by injecting THC into the cells, which reportedly
slowed the growth of lung cancers, breast cancers and a virus-induced leukemia in laboratory mice, and prolonged their lives by as much as 36 percent.
After the revelation of this particular study, which was published in a feature article in the Washington Post newspaper on August 18th, more studies began popping up that supported this conclusion.
A 1975 study published in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute
stated that, “Lewis lung adenocarcinoma growth was retarded by the oral
administration of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabinol (CBD). Mice
treated for 20 consecutive days with THC and CBD had reduced primary
tumor size.”
The War On Drugs,
declared by President Nixon in 1971, has prevented a substantial amount
of research into THC and yet evidence is still present that THC can
dramatically affect the size of tumors and amount of cancer cells in a
person’s body.
Several studies from the last two decades have
shown that THC can actually completely demolish cancer cells and the
SETH group stated,
No chemotherapy can match this nontoxic anti-cancer action.
Watch the short video below that shows what happens when THC is injected into cancer cells.
